Gelotology Expo Stand

Gelotology needed a light expo stand for SIC, a one day event. No need to say that there was a tight budget and some weight restrictions for the sports flooring of the hall. The stand needed to depict a living room interacting with a garden.

Lulu's Kitchen / Shop

The limited space in our house forces me to find inventive ways to spoil my daughter. She wanted a kitchen and a shop to play in, and so the kitchen/shop was born.

On one side, it's a kitchen. Turn the whole thing around, flip the kitchen counter, and it transforms into a shop. Flip the sink, and it becomes the drawer of the cash register.

Birth Announcement

My wife, Hanne, and I joined forces for our youngest daughter's birth announcement. I'm into woodworks. She's into decorations and styling.

Gelotology Prototyping

Most of the stuff I worked on as a Gelotologist is still unpublished or in prototyping phase. Most of the time it was woodworks and mechanics. When there was coding involved, I assisted the coder and mounted the electronics.

I did some coding, but most of it is still Chinese to me. (I speak Chinese poorly.)

Duo Chair

This duo chair was designed to improve the interaction between therapists or parents and young children. Easy to use and ergonomic for both adult and child.

Christmas Tipi-Tree

Did I already say that the limited space in our house forces me to spoil my daughter in inventive ways? She asked for a tipi, but those bastards take up a lot of space.

So, instead of putting a tipi under the Christmas tree, we merged the whole shebang into a tipi-tree.

More Daughter Stuff

When my firstborn started to crawl, I had to make something to contain her.

I just so happened to have 34 old tennis rackets in the basement (not).

A year later, I made her a 300-origami-bird lamp to brighten up her room day and night.

Display Stair Case

This is another small house combo project.

1) We needed a barrier to make our open staircase kids proof.

2) We, I, also needed a place to store my collectibles.

3) Since this construction stands in our dressing room, we needed a space for the dirty laundry as well.

4) This construction would block the light flow to the lower and upper stairs. So I integrated led lights to brighten up both upper and lower staircases, the dressing and my childhood memories.

I present to you our staircase/display/ laundry divider/ light wall with a sock-n-shoe-put-on bench.

Glow Stick Saber

"A real Jedi builds its own lightsaber".

I wanted to lend the tiny handed Star Wars geek a big hand by creating Glow Stick Sabers, a cheap and easy DIY.

Download the printable PDF from the site, cut it out, stick it to a glow stick and roll it up. Impressive? Most Impressive!
